Returns, Exchange & Cancellations

All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

An irregular weave or print or a stitch should not be taken as a defect as handcrafted products will not show consistent uniformity like a machine-made product.

Despite these variables, at Jewel In Black, we stand behind the quality of our products and we allow exchange/ return/ refund (for eligible product categories) if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason.

The exchange, return & refund policies mentioned below are applicable only on the Purchases made online through our official website (www.jewelinblack.com)

All products sold at jewelinblack.com are covered under our 7 Day Refund/Replacement Guaranteed. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refund Claiming Process

Go to Contact on the main menu of our website & fill up the form with proper information about your case or drop a mail at contactjewelinblack@gmail.com or call us on +91-901-5326-331, within 7 days from the date of delivery.
The defective/unused product will be recalled and a replacement will be shipped immediately, if available. Return charges will bear by us if the shipment address is limited to India and customers outside India have to bear shipment charges.

You can get your money back into your originating bank account or you can opt for a gift card which can be used for any future purchases on our website. You can also opt for a Paytm Wallet transfer in case you have paid via COD mode.

Order Cancellations at IOH

If you've cancelled an order before your order has been shipped we will refund your amount as quick as possible. But if your order has been shipped there will be 2 things that could happen.

1. Product has been shipped & not yet delivered to you: In that case you have to inform us via mail (contactjewelinblack@gmail.comor you can call on the number given on our website, we will initiate your refund as quick as possible.

2. Product has been shipped and delivered to you: In that case you have to inform us via mail (contactjewelinblack@gmail.comor you can call on the number given on our website, we will initiate a pick up (charges bear by Jewel In Black) and once we received the product then will initiate your refund accordingly.

Refund Time

Refund will be initiate according to the conditions that we've explained above. But to give you an idea, it will take 1-7 days for refund according to the situation.

About The Founders

Pooja Mehra

Pooja Mehra had always been an artist at heart. From a young age, she loved to draw and paint, and as she grew older, her passion for art only intensified. It wasn't until she discovered the art of jewelry design that she truly found her calling.
Pooja spent countless hours pouring over design books and studying the work of famous jewelry designers. She spent even more time in her studio, experimenting with different materials and techniques until she found the perfect balance of form and function.
As her skills as a jewelry designer grew, Pooja began to notice a disturbing trend in the industry. All the jewelry available on the market seemed to be designed solely for women, and even then, the designs were often overly feminine and delicate.
Pooja knew that there were many strong, independent women out there who didn't want to wear dainty jewelry. They wanted something bolder and more expressive, something that spoke to their strength and independence.
And so, Pooja decided to start her own jewelry brand, one that would cater to these bold and independent women. She called it Jewel in Black, and from the moment she launched her first collection, it was an instant success.
Pooja's designs were unlike anything anyone had seen before. They were strong and bold, featuring dark metals and angular shapes that were both striking and empowering.
